Apwint
Apwint (Burmese: အပွင့်) is a culturally specific social identity in Myanmar for individuals assigned male at birth who openly present as women and are attracted to men. The term combines aspects of gender presentation and sexual orientation within local classificatory practices and is distinct from the related category apone, which denotes concealment of feminine identity or same-sex attraction.
